Chilled Broccoli Salad

1/2 C Red Onion (finely chopped)
1/2 C Celery (finely chopped)
1/2 C Raisins
1/2 C Pecans (chopped)
1 C Mayonnaise
1/4 C Sugar
3 T Red Wine Vinegar
8 slices bacon, crisp-fried and crumbled
Florets and tender stem portions of 1 bunch broccoli, chopped

Combine the bacon with the broccoli, onion celery, raisings and nuts in a large bowl and mix well. In small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar, pour over broccoli mixture and mix well. Chill covered for one hour or longer before serving.

Serves 6-8

Note: I typically make this the day before so the broccoli becomes a little more tender and the flavors mix together.
